Ray wanted to present a full concert experience comprised of three parts: an intimate solo set, the new music of Ouroboros with My Morning Jacket, and a psychedelic finale featuring past material.

For the Ouroboros design, a photographic, three-dimensional super moon slowly goes into and out of a blood moon eclipse over the entire duration of the set. During the central song, a crescendo takes visual form as rays of light grow and extend around the sublime blood moon.

For the psychedelic portion of the show, I collaborated with Drippy Eye Projections to create a layered, evolving liquid light show. The oils were filmed in high-speed and played in slow-motion.

In both designs, the organic forms set against the LED structure presented a compelling contrast; digital and analog in harmony.
